Which one you should actually buy.
Pick MileIQ
You are reimbursed at a per-kilometre rate rather than deducting costs, you want a larger free monthly cap than Claimable Drive's, or you drive on Android.
Pick Claimable
You are self-employed and file a T2125, where the deduction is a share of real vehicle costs, and you want the business-use percentage and the tax it saves rather than a per-kilometre total.
What Claimable does not do
- No live bank feed. Receipts and income are captured, not reconciled against a bank connection.
- No double-entry ledger, no payroll, no accounts payable.
- It does not NETFILE. It produces the T2125, the CCA schedule, the GST/HST figures and the receipts behind them; you or your accountant file them.
- The iPhone app is early. Claimable runs in any browser today.
